It’s time I stop feeling sorry for myself and get back on the proverbial horse. Since learning that we needed to repair my wife’s car to the tune of $4,000, I’ve stopped doing all the things that put me in the best position to reach my goal…
- Blogging
- Inundating myself with financial wisdom (i.e. reading Mr. Money Mustache, Cash Rebel, etc.)
- Spending Money Wisely (we’ve eaten out more than we should)
- Stopped with the mini-challenges
Well enough is enough. It is when I am faced with adversity that I must rise to the occasion and not crumple under its weight. The time for wallowing in my misfortune is done. It is now the dawning of a new era; an era of kicking ass and taking names. Sleep with one eye open Great Lakes, because I’m coming for you…Okay, I admit I went too far, too many pep talk cliche’s in one blog posting, but you get my point.
“Inundating myself with financial wisdom”, Haha, I love it. Optimism is a powerful tool, my friend. Try focusing on one money saving project and eek out a win.
